August 13, 2008 Wanda Barrill, a resident of Berlin, was thanked for her years of service as president of the CVMC Auxiliary. Rena Chernik,
long-time resident of the Warren and currently a Montpelier resident was voted in as auxiliary president. Rena has been a hospital volunteer since the late 1980s, has been on the auxiliary board for 13 years, and is a member of the CVMC Board of Trustees.
The Central Vermont Medical Center Auxiliary operates the gift shop off the main lobby at the hospital and the Bene-fit Shop, a thrift shop in Barre. Membership in the auxiliary is open to all persons who are interested in the purposes and activities of the organization Membership dues are $10 per calendar year.
